ACD Telecom provides Phone Service, DSL and Internet Backhaul service to other telecommunications carriers. We completely own our own network and do not resell other company’s services in the areas we serve. Dealing direct with us, rather than going through multiple sales organizations, we can provide the most competitive pricing in the industry.

Primary Rate Interface Circuits:
We have our own phone switch and can directly provide you local access for your modems in the following exchanges in the (517) area code.  We are expanding and will be able to give you other exchanges, we expect to be in every area code in Michigan by the end of the year. Since nobody likes vaporware, here are the exchanges we have now.

1 POP at ACD Telecom = access to nearly all the 517 area code (346 Lata)

Modem Management:
If you want modem access to the Internet, and do not want to co-locate your modems with us, we can provide Modem Network Access Servers for you.

Internet Backhaul:
We can provide drainage for your Internet traffic for co-located equipment (modems and servers). We can provide bandwidth and instantly upgrade or downgrade the amount of bandwidth you wish to purchase. This is done because it is less expensive than running your own circuits in to our location. ACD Telecom is multi homed with direct peering to many of the major carriers.

DSL Service:
ACD is a primary supplier (on our own equipment) of DSL.  We can deliver SDSL up to 40,000 circuit feet from central offices. ACD can provision ATM T1 circuits or IP T1 Circuits, or you can use our Internet Backhaul service for your traffic. We have DSL operating in the following locations:

  Lansing, MI 3 Central Offices
  East Lansing, MI 1 Central Office
  Okemos, MI 1 Central Office
  Jackson, MI 2 Central Office

Co-Location Services:
We have a fully staffed network operations center, and can provide you with space, electricity (generator, and battery), telecommunications services, Internet Backhaul for any collocated equipment that you want to put in our network facilities.

Dark and Lighted Fiber:
We have dark fiber as well as lighted fiber available for sale. If you are interested in owning your own fiber facilities, please contact us.
